Although the Kalinindorf Jewish region in the Ukraine carried out its crop delivery 100 per cent, most of the Jewish farm regions in the Ukraine have had small crops and are far behind in the grain delivery to the state.
At Newzlatapol, the crop raised by Jewish farmers is bad and cannot be harvested by machines because the grain stands very low, it was reported today.
The Star, Yiddish Communist paper, reported that on many of the Jewish farm collectives the women refused to work in the fields harvesting the crops and are alleged to have sabotaged the delivery of the grain quotas to the government. The paper demanded that these saboteurs be placed on trial and punished.
