Three hundred prominent members of the Jewish communities of the United States today signed an appeal in behalf of the British War Relief Society, issued by the United Jewish War Effort, urging support of the campaign for funds now being conducted by the British War Relief Society in New York City.
Among the signatories are members of the governing boards of the outstanding Jewish organizations in America and distinguished representatives of the rabbinate, arts, business, the judiciary, philanthropy, law and other fields.
