Delegates representing hundreds of Conservative congregations, men’s clubs and sisterhoods, some of them from as far as the Pacific Coast, will make the forthcoming national convention of the United Synagogue of America and the Women’s League of the United Synagogue the largest in the history of the organization, it was announced by Leo J. Goldberger, chairman of the convention committee. The sessions of the convention will be held at the Commodore Hotel in New York on May 4, 5 and 6 and will be distinguished by a number of addresses by men of leading prominence in American Jewish life, rabbis as well as lay men.
