Joseph Schechter, head of the Schechter Live Poultry Corporation, had computed and computed and finally realized that it had cost him $100,000 to overthrow the NRA codes in the Supreme Court.
“I would have preferred the jail sentence,” he said, “if I would have known that legal fees were going to cost that much.”
