A British soldier was seriously wounded and five Jewish youths and girls were slightly injured today when a bomb thrown by a terrorist exploded in a crowd outside of the Orion cinema here. One Arab woman was killed and another was wounded when two Arabs held up a bus on route from Ein Hakarem to Jerusalem.

The authorities yesterday warned all Arab merchants that their shops would be closed if there was a recurrence of violence in the Jerusalem area. The warning was served by the District Commissioner at a meeting of the merchants called for that purpose.

Yezekiel Landau, 29-year-old Jewish bakery driver, died here today of wounds inflicted by terrorists in an attack near the Old City Thursday. A Jew named Benjamin Goldstock was kidnaped from his home on the outskirts of Kfar Atta, near Haifa.
