Appreciation of the generosity of American actors for making possible the raising of a large sum for German Jewish relief was expressed yesterday by Felix M. Warburg, national chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, who added that, if the campaign for German. Jewish relief is to be a success, “New York City should give much more than it has already given.”
Mr. Warburg announced that “a little over half” has been pledged of the total $3,000,000 quota sought by the United Jewish Appeal. Eight hundred thousand dollars has been obtained in New York.
