Warburg and Julius Rosenwald, three of the outstanding Jews in the United States, are the moving spirits in the Carl Schurz Memorial Foundation, Inc., which has just been organized to promote cultural relations between the United States and Germany. The organization will hold up the life work of Schurz, statesman, diplomat and journalist, as an example of how loyalty to great ideals can serve the best interests of Germany and the United States.
