President Chaim Weizmann returned to Israel today following a vacation in Switzerland and France. He looked well and happy and told the delegation of government officials and press representatives who welcomed him at Lydda Airport that he was in “good health and was happy to devote” all of his energy to affairs of the state. He also extended his “warmest greetings to all citizens of Israel.”
Among those who greeted Dr. Weizmann upon his arrival at the Lydda field aboard an Air France plane were Foreign Minister Moshe Sharett, Labor Minister Golda Myerson, Finance Minister Eliezer Kaplan and a representative of Premier David Ben Gurion.
