The Bavarian Ministry of Justice revealed yesterday That the West German government refused to ask Libya for the extradition of the three surviving Munich terrorists following their arrival in Libya last Oct. The three were released by the West German government in return for the safety of passengers on board a German airliner Hijacked by Arabs at Zagrety.
The decision not to ask for extradition was taken by the Bonn government after consultations with all the competent German authorities, and after a close examination of the legal situation, the Bavarian Justice Ministry said.
