Winter squalls turned Jerusalem white. Between 5 and 20 inches fell in the area from Jerusalem area to the Golan Heights on Saturday. Prayers at the Western Wall went ahead despite a collapse on the ramp that leads from the Kotel plaza to the Dome of the Rock, sending chunks of rock tumbling down into the women’s section at the wall.
