Rabbi Samuel Wohl, of Isaac M. Wise Temple, left yesterday for Chicago where, Tuesday night, as newly-elected president of the League for Labor Palestine, he will preside at the first Midwestern conference and deliver an address. He is also to deliver an address Wednesday night at the national convention of Paole Zion.
Rabbi Wohl stated that the League for Labor Palestine, organized to give active support to the labor federation in Palestine, now has constituent organizations in forty cities in the United States and Canada. National headquarters probably will be established in Cincinnati, he said.
The Midwestern conference in Chicago will be attended by representatives from many cities throughout this section and several from Canada, Rabbi Wohl added. ###
