The Women’s League for Palestine yesterday voted to send a grant of $20,000 to Palestine to complete payments on a girls’ training and residence center which is to open in Jerusalem shortly, it was announced here today. The organization has already sent $56,000 to Palestine this year.
The decision to send the additional funds was made at a luncheon meeting at the Hotel Riverside Plaza here at which annual reports we a presented. Mrs. William Prince was re-elected for an eleventh term as president of the group.
