The success or failure of the application of the principles expressed in the Roosevelt-Churchill declaration will be “judged by the measure of facilities given to the Jewish nation for its rehabilitation in Palestine,” the New Judea, official Zionist organ writes in this week’s issue published today.
The article states that the steps to insure a better future for the world would have no foundation if one of the oldest nations is excluded from the “charter of mankind.” It is difficult to believe that the United States which was a party to the pledge given to the Jewish people by Britain in the last war, and which is to play such an important role in the future peace, would discriminate against the Jewish people when applying the sixth point of the Roosevelt-Churchill declaration, the Zionist organ points out.
