The decision adopted at the recent conference in Pittsburgh of representatives of Jewish organizations to convene an American Jewish Assembly within the next five months will be one of the major items of discussion at an all-day meeting of the national administrative council of the Zionist Organizations of America to be held this Sunday at the Hotel Pennsylvania, New York, it was announced here today by the ZOA headquarters.
The meeting, which will be attended by representatives from all parts of the country will hear a first hand report on the situation in Palestine and the Middle East which will be delivered by Rabbi Meyer Berlin, president of the World Mizrachi, who just flew here from Palestine. A survey of the Palestine situation in the light of the latest war developments will be presented by Judge Louis E. Levinthal, president of the organization.
