Mr. Lucien Wolf has just received from M. Klishko, the Russian representative here, a reply to the protest Mr. Wolf forwarded on behalf of the Joint Foreign Committee against the suppression of the Jewish religion in Soviet Russia.

Confirming the prohibition of religious teachings in Jewish and other schools, Mr. Klishko declares this is done in accordance with the general policy, which has removed from the schools the Priest, the Pastor, the Mullah and the Rabbi. M. Klishko adds that no religion has gained from this policy as much as the Jewish. The Jews are now for the first time immune from persecution, and are enjoying complete freedom.
