The Polish police are now curtailing the activities of a band of thugs who made it their business to molest Jews leaving Poland.
One of their schemes was to prey upon those immigrants who “stole” their way across the border. Catching sight of the unhappy immigrant they would rob him of his goods, threatening to turn him over to the police for traveling without a passport if he informed on them.
