The movement to convert Jewish synagogues into workingmen’s clubs is growing daily in strength throughout Russia and the Ukraine. Reports from Vinitzia, Chernigov and other places indicate that many of the synagogues are being rapidly transformed to communist organizations.
The Soviet government is not taking any part in the agitation, but is giving its aid the Jewish Communists successful in winning a synagogue for club purposes.
