The question of the Jewish refugees who are compelled to leave Poland has been placed on the agenda of the meeting of the Advisory Committee of the League of Nations’ High Commissioner for refugee relief. The Committee will meet at Geneva April 20. Consideration of the Jewish refugee question was urged by the Joint Foreign Committee of British Jews, the Aliance Israelite, and the British-Jewish War Victims Fund.
In view of the recent statement by the Austrian Vice-Chancellor, that the League of Nations had approved the expulsion of Galician Jews from Austria, this question, too, will be consider by the committee.
