A dinner at the Yale’s dining hall for a thousand members of Bnei Brith lodges in Eastern United States, comprising district #1, is one of the features of the district convention which opened yesterday. Mayor David E. Fitzgerald and former representative Goldfogle of New York delivered addresses of welcome. The officers elected were: President Judge Jacob Caplan of New Haven, First Vice President, Louis Fabrican of New York; Second Vice-President, Bertram M. Aufsesser or Albany; Treasurer, Herman Asher of New York, Secretary, Max Levy.
