The national Council of Palestine Jews (Vaad Leumi) has been asked by the government to name two candidates for the place reserved for Jews on the advisory Council which, because of the temporary annulment of the Legislative Council, is to function as the only body representative of all sections of the Palestine population.

It is learned Mousa Kasim Pasha, in his capacity of President of the Moslem Christian Executive Committee, has cabled to king Hussein his congratulations upon the successful issue of the King’s negotiations with the British over the formation of the Arab Federation. Palestine is proud to be included in the Federation, Kasim Pasha asserts.
