A temporary central committee of the Palestine Development Council with S. H. Waldstein of Boston as Chairman, and Adolph Hubbard as secretary, was organized following the Council’s meeting here at the Ulyseum Club, Boston, on June 24. Justice Bouis D. Brandeis delivered an address Robert Szold and Jacob deHaas also spoke. Those present included Rabbis Levi and Abrams of Boston, Rabbi Shohet of Providence, Rabbi Jurman of Waterbury, Judge D. Lourie, Boston, Edward Chase, Manchester, N. H., and Max L. Grant of Providence, R. I.. as well as Rabbi Borochoff of Malden and Mr. Louis Feingold of Worcester.
