The secretary of the American Embassy and representatives of the Department of Health were present at the exercises today at the laying of the cornerstone of the Nurses Home and Jewish Hospital which is being erected here with the aid of the American Joint Distribution Committee.
Representatives of the Polish Red Cross and of the municipality of Warsaw were also present. The secretary of the American Embassy congratulated the Joint Distribution Committee on its undertaking.
