Thousands of Hungarian Jews Seek Passports to U.S.

Although the Hungarian quota for this year is 5,638, more than 30,000 Hungarians have applied for passports to America. Large number of these are Jews.

Preference is being given to those who applied in previous years and to husbands or wives wishing to join their families already in America.
