Palestine Administration is going in very strongly for a reduction in its expenditures and as a result of the retrenchment move, many of the less needed employees have been removed from the Government’s payroll.
All departments have been instructed to cut their expenditures to the bone, and the revised annual budget which has been prepared provides for a cut of a quarter of a million pounds or over a million dollars.
