Among the 542 American tourists in Palestine during August, who arrived on the Anchor-Cunarder “Tuscania” there were sixty Jews.

All the tourists, including the Jews, visited places of non-Jewish interest only, all their guides being Arabs. The excursion was organized by Messrs. Thomas Cook & Son.
