Abdullah Suppresses Revolt; Kills 82 Rebels

The uprising against the Government of Transjordania has been suppressed by Emir Abdullah’s forces, after inflicting 82 casualties among the insurrectionaries, say advices from Ammon.

The leader of the revolt, it has been established, is Sultan Pasha Adwaan, Chief of the Belka tribe.

In suppressing the revolt Abdullah’s forces made use of aeroplanes and machine guns.

The situation across the Jordan is described as having been restored to “normal”.
