Warning that “a day of judgement and vengeance” is due for the German Jews is made by the anti-Semitic “Deutsche Zeitung”.
The warning is uttered in connection with the proposal of the Morgenpost that 400 German capitalists be taken into custody before they flee from the country in an effort to escape their share of the taxes.
The “Deutsche Zeitung” declares that this is not necessary, but it urges instead that 400 Jewish representatives be held as “hostages” and that it is time, moreover, that a day of vengeance be visited upon the Jews.
