Storrs Gives Party in Honor of Sir Herbert’s Return

Sir Herbert Samuel returned to his post after his vacation spent in England and the continent. He was greeted by leading officials of the Government and on Tuesday evening last a garden party was held in honor of the High Commissioner at Governor Storr’s house. Four hundred persons, representing all the communities were present.

It is learned that Sir Herbert brings the consent of the Colonial Office for the legalization of the Vaad Leumi and the Jewish communities, without the taxation privilege however.
