Henry Ford, Ku Klux favorite for President, is apparently out for more free advertising.
In a statement to Montreal reporters today, Ford declared that the League of Nations as an instrument for the prevention of war is useless and that the only way to get world peace would be to “get the fifty leading Jewish financiers of the world together and render their manipulations of money impossible.
“In no other way can peace be established” Ford said. “As soon as the world awakes and finds them out and acts, then we will have peace. It is such financiers that cause war. They operate for profit and gain for themselves. Let us hope for action soon.”
Ford characterized wail Street as a “Jewish Mecca” and dismissed the subject with “You know what that means.”
Newspapermen who saw him say Ford looked very guant, but none of them would say whether his physical condition had affected his mind.
