Reviewing the French translation of Sholom Ash’s works, a critic in the “Libre Parole” expresses appreciation of the talent shown in the French version. The translation was made by M. Blumenfeld.
As to the work itself the reviewer says it throws new light upon the trgedy of Jewish life.
