Ab Cahan, editor of the Forwards returned to New York on the Leviathan Monday, after a tour of virtually all principal points of Europe.
Cahan told reporters that in many parts of Europe there was a renaissance of Jewish national culture and Jewish idealism. He honored and respected their idealism and fine feeling, Cahan said, although he did not believe it would be productive of any results.
Mussolini, Cahan declared, was introducing anti-Semitism in Italy. Cahan conferred with President Ebert of Germany and many other European notables.
A reception will be tendered to the Jewish editor at the National Theatre, Houston Street next Tuesday.
