Several Jews Wounded Following Killing of Soldier, Report

The Evening News today prints a strange report from Budapest of the riot at the University during which several Jews were wounded following the killing by a Jewish merchant of a soldier.

Enraged by the report of the soldier’s death, Christian students of the University, the report asserts, attacked the Jewish students at the campus.

The report adds that the authorities have taken energetid measures.
