Dr. Soloweitchik, former Minister for Jewish Affairs in Lithuania, has resigned as member of the Zionist Executive, owing to disagreement between him and other mcmers of the Executive on question relating to the establishment of the Jewish Agency. In particular, Dr. Soloweitchik’s resignation is intended as a protest against Leonard Stein, the political Secretary of the Zionist Organization who in Weizmann’s absence has been conducting negotiations with representatives of English Jewry concerning the Agency.
