For some time there have been complaints made by Jews that while passing through the streets of Riga they have found that a corrosive liquid has been sprayed on their clothes, which have been ruined in consequence. As a result of the complaints the police have been keeping a watch and have arrested a student, who appearsto be a member of an anti-Semitic gang organized for the special purpose of spraying the liquid over the clothes of Jewish pedestrians. The police hope to make further arrests shortly.
