Russia Monarchists Protest Jewish Colonization Plan

The plan for Jewish colonization in the Crimea, which has aroused to much discussion among the Jews, is also receiving attention from other quarters. The Russian monarchist paper “Pravoye Dielo”, published here, in a recent editorial, expressed itself on the subject in the following manner: “This (the plan for Jewish colonization) is, of course, an incredible insolence – monstrous even within the borders and circumstances of the Soviets. The conceited Judas-Bolsheviks do not conceal any more the fact that they are an obedient instrument in the hands of international Jewry; that they are exercising the will of the Universal Sanhedrim which has brought them to Russia, and that their program coincides to the letter with the one drawn up in the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”

The editorial quotes Israel Zangwill as stating that Zionism as far as the program for the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine is concerned, has received a severe and irreparable setback, because the Arabs have defended their country, and continues: “In this very moment the Soviet “Comrades’ hastened to relieve the Messrs. Zionists, and truly, how else could it be? Russia is vast and abundant. Why should ‘Schmoulevitches’ and ‘Finkelsteins’ cross the sea in their fortune-hunt, when it is entirely possible to establish a Jewish Republic, say in the Poltava and in the bordering Little Russian Governments.”
