Mr. Reisner, manager of the Jewish Refugee Aid Committee, has visited Dr. Adnan Bey, Political Representative of the Turkish Minister for Foreign Affairs, and discussed with him the plight of the Jewish emigrants and refugees stranded in Constantinople-Further, Mr. Reisner pointed out the loss which the Turkish Government sustains through not allowing Jewish emigrants to land in Constantinople. He complained of the difficulties experienced by people who pass through Constantinople in transit for other places and who, although possessed of the necessary visas, are not allowed to be transhipped on other steamers until after considerable trouble.

Dr. Adnan Bey agreed with Mr. Reisner that there is a just cause to feel aggrieved and promised his full support when transmitting Mr. Reisner’s petition to the proper authorities.
