Hebrew Society’s Free Loans Exceed Million in Year

Loans by the Hebrew Free Loan Society, which are made without interest or expense of any kind, exceeded the million dollar mark last year, according to an announcement yesterday of Julius J. Dukas, president of the society. Fifteen million dollars in sums from 35 to $500 have been lent by the society. The only requirement is that the borrower procure a suitable indorser.
