The activities of the Macedonia Revolutionary Committee have not abated in any measure despite the Government’s promise to put a stop to their practices. The revolutionists are making increasing demands for money upon Jewish citizens who, in order to escape their threats of reprisals if payments are not made, are fleeing the country.

A delegation of Jewish citizens called upon the Bulgarian Premier Zenkoff, and asked him to take steps to protect them against the revolutionists. The Premier evaded the issue by telling the deputation that Christians suffer as much from the revolutionists as the Jews.
