Cardinal Francis Bourne, Archbishop of Westminister, arrived in Jerusalem Friday at the head of a delegation of 930 British Catholic pilgrims. Cardinal Bourne and the Catholic pilgrims were greeted by Governor Storrs and accompanied by the Palestinian ecclesiatical dignitaries, the entire party immediately proceeded to the Holy Sepulchre. The pilgrims will remain in Jerusalem for ten days and on March 10 will proceed to Nazareth.
Cardinal Bourne several weeks ago was asked by the Pope to investigate conditions in Palestine and to submit a report to him.
