The rights of Americans in Palestine will be secured by a special treaty to be concluded shortly between the United States and England. Great Britain expressed her desire to resume negotiations after the treaty between the United States and France concerning the rights of Americans in Syria and Lebanon was concluded several days ago.

The signing of this treaty with Great Britain would constitute additional recognition on the part of America of the provisions of the Mandate for the creation of the Jewish National Homeland in Palestine.
