The creation of “National Centers” was announced by the Communistic White Russian Government in places where the national minorities formed the majority of the population. In many towns and villages of White Russia, the official government business will be conducted in the Yiddish language as a result of this decree. All government documents in this town will also be issued in Yiddish.
Another decree of the White Russian Government, issued to-day, calls for the re-organization of the school system. According to this decree, all instruction is to be given in the mother tongue of the children. The number of Jewish schools in White Russia will therefore, be greatly increased.
