Mr. David Israel Macht. lecturer in pharmacology at the John Hopkins Medical School, has been awarded one-third of the American Pharmaceutical Research Fund for 1924-25.
The award to Dr. Macht was based on research work which he is doing to determine a method of standardizing alkaloidal drugs. This work is being carried on by noting the general effect of solutions of these drugs on seedlings of plants.
