Syria is in a state of anarchy, according to cables reported by the Arab paper “Al Carmel” to have been sent by the Union of Syrian Parties at Damascus to the French Government, King Hussein and Emir Ali. The cables suggest that the only way to bring about order is a proclamation of independence, establishing a Parliamentary Monarchy in Syria.
