“Whether or not I am re-elected, I intend to visit Palestine”, declared Mr. J. H. Thomas, British Labor Minister for the Colonies, before representatives of the Zionist Organization of South Africa.

“It was my proud duty, as well as my honor, to be the first Labor Minister who was able to proclaim from the floor of the House of Commons, our endorsement of the Balfour Declaration”, he stated.
