A tragedy in Jewish family caused a considerable stir here. Miss Sara Bernholz committed suicide yesterday by jumping from a fourth story window. She was the granddaughter of Rabbi Solomon Gesuntheit, famous Warsaw rabbi and author of the “Chemdath Shlomo.”

The cause of her act was said to be the distressed circumstances of her parents, who were threatened with eviction from their home.
