The income of the Keren Hayesod, the Palestine Foundation Fund, for the month of August amounted to £43,285, according to a report made public today by the Keren Hayesod Board of Directors.
The total income of the Keren Hayesod so far is £2,516,322.
At a meeting of the Board of Directors held in Paris, it was decided that the Keren Hayesod acquire an additional number of shares in Ruttenberg’s Palestine Electric Corporation to the amount of £50,000, making a total investment of the Keren Hayesod in the company of £100,000.
The transfer of the Keren Hayesod headquarters from London to Jerusalem began today when the first group of the staff left for Palestine.
