The route covered by Abraham the Patriarch on his wanderings from Ur of the Chaldeans to Palestine will be shortened by the introduction of American modes of communication.

A regular automobile service was established between Jerusalem and Bagdad, the capital of Mesopotamia, The journey by automobile will take three and a half days.
