Prominent Boston Zionists and representatives of several organizations will hold a conference next Sunday afternoon at the New American House to arrange for a reception in honor of Dr. Chaim Weizmann and the delegation which will accompany him. Dr. Weizmann will come to participate in the national conference of the United Palestine Appeal, which will be held here Nov. 21.
Plans to raise Boston’s quota of $300,000 in the United Palestine Appeal will also be discussed at Sunday’s conference.
The announcement of the coming United Palestine Appeal conference in Boston was greeted here with satisfaction. No meeting of such a character has been held here since 1915 when the convention of the Provisional Committee of American Zionists was held, under the chairmanship of Justice Brandeis.
