A decision to strengthen the work of the Jewish cooperative societies in Lithuania and Poland was taken at a joint conference of representatives of the Joint Distribution Committee, the Joint Reconstruction Foundation and the Jewish Colonization Association held here.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the arrival of Dr. Louis Oungre, general manager of the Jewish Colonization Association.
