Jewish Sculptor Wins Acclaim in Jugo-slavia

The Jewish sculptor Slavko Brill of Zagreb is attracting wide attention in Jugoslavia by his work.

His recent exhibits at the exhibition of south Slovakian artists in Paris called forth the praise of the entire Jugoslavian press. Brill is a favorite pupil of the famous Jugoslavian sculptor. Ivan Mestrovic. His works include a bronze bust of Professor Hermann Shapiro, the founder of the Jewish national fund, whch is intended for the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and a bronze statue of Moses. Brill is 28.
